IRS Website allows for dealer transfers of clean vehicle credits
The IRS is allowing dealers and sellers of clean vehicles to register to use the agency’s new online tool that will allow their customers to claim or transfer their credits for the purchase of a new or previously owned clean vehicle. Beginning
in 2024, taxpayers in specified situations will be allowed to claim their clean vehicle credit at the point of sale and transfer it to eligible entities, i.e., dealerships. Clean vehicle sellers and licensed dealers must use the tool to claim or transfer the credit on behalf of a buyer. Once the credit is transferred, it will need to be reconciled
on the tax return filed for the year it takes place.

If you are one of the many individuals who are now earning side gig income such as providing ride-sharing services, delivery services, selling goods or services online, and other side gig work to earn a profit then you must report this income on their tax return.
411-Tax Services recommends that individual taxpayers should wait until at least after January 31, 2023 to file their tax returns because employers have until January 31, 2023 to issue forms such as W-2s and 1099s reporting your earnings for tax year 2022. Some mistakes made by filing to early in the tax season are: 1) Filing too early - may not have all your tax documents; 2) Inaccurate information - bank documents not received in timely manner, and 3) Late W-2s and 1099s for Employers.
See IRS webpage on Common Mistakes made when filing your taxes to early.
If you did not get one or both or partial stimulus checks for year 2020, 2021, and you had no income and/or not required to file then may be able to claim the "Recovery Rebate Credit" by filing tax returns for these years to claim these Recovery Rebate Credits.
As of this date, the IRS is reporting that all first, second and third Economic Impact Payments have been issued, and that most eligible people have already received their stimulus payments.
